Looking to create the ultimate feature wall? Wall panelling is one of the most popular and effective ways to transform any room and achieve that designer look. It can be used throughout the home, for feature walls, in niches and even in wet areas like laundries and butler’s pantries. One looks through our portfolio of projects and you’ll see that it’s one of our favourite design elements because it’s simple, subtle, and suits any space regardless of what style we’re going for.

And now with the brand new Silhouette range from Easycraft, there are wall panelling options like never before…with three new architectural profiles that incorporate natural shapes and shadows to give your space added dimension. So, which one will you use in your next design project?

Zephyr and Stone • Studio Space Featuring Easycraft Silhouette Convex 30

Convex

With its curved, half-round profile, the new Easycraft Silhouette Convex profile provides the perfect backdrop and a refined statement for any space. We installed the Convex 30mm panelling floor to ceiling in our new Studio space, leaving a 5mm Shadowline ‘gap’ between the ceiling and floor. The rounded finish of this profile is soft and subtle and pairs beautifully with curved, arched and rounded design details and furniture with reeded finishes. You can keep your space neutral by painting your panelling in a lighter colour as we’ve done here, or make a bold statement — by choosing darker, bolder or brighter hues.

Cove

The Cove is another of the new and unique wall panel profiles in the Silhouette Range. Its pattern is almost the reverse of the Convex, with the profile curving inwards towards the wall for a scalloped-like look. Cove panelling is available in several sizes - 13mm, 38mm and 50mm which refers to the width of each scalloped indent. The Cove works beautifully in a range of home styles and the pattern can be maximised by installing feature lighting to accentuate shadows by night.

Channel

Last but definitely not least, the new Easycraft Silhouette Channel profile is a minimalist’s dream, with a square edge, and straight lines to provide the perfect feature for both contemporary and traditional style homes. The Channel profile deviates from the curved design of the Convex and Cove, with sleek repeated rectangles which makes it almost like a revamped version of the Easycraft VJ panelling we’ve all come to love. Available in three different sizes, we’re sure we’ll be seeing this profile popping up all over our Insta feed in no time.
